Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups watermelon flesh, cubed seedless if possible
  • 1 cup sparkling water chilled
  • 1 tbsp honey or agave syrup optional, adjust to taste

Method
 

  1. Place the cubed watermelon flesh into a blender and blend on high until completely smooth and no chunks remain.

  2. Pour the blended watermelon through a fine strainer into a large mixing glass, pressing gently with a spoon to extract the juice while catching pulp and seeds.

  3. Add the honey or agave syrup to the strained watermelon juice and stir well until fully combined and the syrup dissolves, visualized by a glossy appearance.

  4. Slowly pour the chilled sparkling water into the watermelon mixture, gently stirring to combine and maintain the bubbles. Observe the mixture becoming effervescent with tiny bubbles rising to the surface.

  5. Pour the finished watermelon sparkler into glasses, adding ice if desired. Serve immediately with a straw, watching the bubbles dance and the vibrant pink color shine through.

Notes
