Method
- Trim any excess fat from the chicken tenders and cut them into uniform strips for even cooking. Place the tenders on a plate and set aside.
- In a shallow bowl, combine panko breadcrumbs, paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix thoroughly to distribute the seasonings evenly.
- In a separate bowl, beat the eggs until well blended. Prepare a third plate for breading assembly.
- Dip each chicken tender into the beaten eggs, ensuring it is fully coated, then transfer to the breadcrumb mixture. Press gently to adhere the coating evenly on all sides.
- Place the coated tenders on a greased or parchment-lined tray, then lightly spray them with olive oil for extra crispness. Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
- Arrange the tenders in the air fryer basket in a single layer, cooking in batches if necessary. Air fry at 400°F (200°C) for 12-15 minutes, turning halfway through, until golden brown and crispy, with internal temperature reaching 165°F (74°C).
Notes
For extra flavor, add Parmesan cheese or herbs to the breadcrumb mixture. Serve immediately with your favorite dipping sauces.
